Golfsmith
I wrote a lot of radio, TV and retail stuff for Golfsmith, sales went up, then they got bought by Dick’s. A classic love story. It’s fun having a Scottish voice gassing up dudes on the course.
What I loved most about this job was one specific meeting. My old partner John misspelled “Golfsmith” on the opening slide of our creative deck. “Golfmith”. And I got custom fit for clubs for the first time. Turns out it’s not all talk. Worked like a charm.
